Topic: “Trading and pricing structured financial products: How to make things happen”
Bio: Silvan joined d-fine in 2016 after completing a Masters in Mathematics at ETH (attending lectures from quant finance program). He has worked at the intersection of trading, quants and IT for various Swiss banks. His presentation will give a view behind the scenes of the important market for structured products in Switzerland. What are structured products? How are they represented and priced? And what are challenges when going from theory to real-world implementation?
